The big minus with ‘citizen journalism’ is, there is no Code of Ethics, no standards of accuracy, no financial accountability, little respect for copyright, little legal recourse, etc.. The big plus is the ability of a ground-up campaign to create change. Watch how this one develops – if it reaches its target it will write itself into the history books:
